Yes! The tub & lid should be cleaned and placed in your yellow lid recycling bin. The small plastic seal can be placed into soft plastic recycling bins like Redcycle.
Yes, we could easily fix that by adding some gums to the product. But it doesn't do the flavour any justice. Just give it a stir and you're away. Don't be fooled! highly processed uniform food isn't actually normal or natural.
If the dip is kept chilled and the scooped out with a clean utensil, it technically should last the full use by. But usually when it's been left out for a while and directly dipped into with other food, we wouldn't keep it for more than 3-5 days.
